Celebrating Light and Optics, the Portuguese Society for Optics and Photonics join efforts with the Hands-on Science Network to organize an informal digital photography contest, VII Informal Digital Photography Contest "The Light and the City".

The photos must be taken until July 20 at 12:00 (CET), and should focus on the Light and its relation to the Town/City you live in or visited.

Photos can be digitally edited/processed.

The photos (up to 3 per participant) should be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (the name of each picture file should include an abbreviated title/name of the photo and the first name initial and last name of the author). The results will be announced at the closing ceremony of the 20th International Conference on Hands-on Science (http://www.hsci.info/hsci2023/), July 21, 2023 at 12:00 (GMT).
